- General Internal Medicine Tele-Rotation Program Overview
- Applicants will participate in the tele-rotation using secure online platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar applications. The program is accessible from any location worldwide.
- All applicants are required to strictly protect patient health information and maintain full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Rotation Details:
- This tele-rotation offers applicants the opportunity to engage in telemedicine within an outpatient clinical setting.
- Location: Georgia, USA
- All applicants will receive an orientation prior to the start of the rotation.
- Applicants will be granted supervised access to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system under the guidance of the attending physician.
- Patient encounters will be followed by case presentations to Dr. Gurleen, along with discussions on patient management.
- Structured didactic sessions will be conducted throughout the rotation.
- Participants will have the opportunity to present a clinical case or topic to the team, followed by group discussion.

Rotation schedule and timing:
Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)
*Please note: Timings may vary depending on patient scheduling. - Letters of Recommendation:
- Letters of recommendation will be awarded based on the individual's performance and merit.
- All letters of recommendation will be given on Emory Healthcare System’s Letterhead.
- Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Access to a laptop, tablet, or smartphone capable of running required applications (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
- Availability during standard office hours (Eastern Time)
- Professional attire and appearance during all sessions
- A quiet, distraction-free workspace during participation
- Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Valid passport
- Proof of current medical school enrollment or graduation certificate
- HIPAA certification
- Recent photograph
