Rotation schedule and timing:
Monday to Friday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET
Saturday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm ET
*Please note: The schedule may differ based on patient appointments. - Students will gain direct experience in patient care, the EMR system, writing their own H/Ps, reviewing medications, interpreting imaging and lab results, etc all under the supervision of the Attending.
- The focus spans a wide array of cases in Hypertension, Type 2 diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease, Coronary Artery Disease, Skin and Soft Tissue Infections, Musculoskeletal Pain, Chronic Pain, Asthma / Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease etc.
- The Attending is affiliated with Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, and Emory Health Care.
- Letters of recommendation will be awarded based on the individual's performance and merit.
- Letters of recommendation will be given on Private Clinic's Letterhead mentioning the Attending’s affiliation with the Hospital.
- Students are expected to demonstrate punctuality, have reliable access to transportation, exhibit writing proficiency, and possess an understanding of history-taking
